The brief was to redesign a whole
book jacket only using two typefaces
and two colours. It was to create a
design that captivates the audience
despite having no photographic or
illustrative elements.
The separation of the title represents
the split
between mother and daughter. The color red
is to symbolize hardship and pain in war, and
beige symbolizes innocence.
